Before You Ask

How many printers do I need?

Two — one in the kitchen for order tickets, one at reception for bills. That's true whether you have 5 tables or 50.

Do I need the internet on all the time?

The printers need a working WiFi connection to receive each print job from the cloud. There's no local-only mode for taking orders — the waiter app and printers both depend on connectivity, same as any cloud POS.

Can I upgrade to full QR ordering later?

Yes. Billing Dispenser runs on the same HotelQR account. When you're ready for guests to scan and order from their own phones, it's a plan change on your existing account — no new signup, no data migration.

What does the software cost after the free year?

Whichever is higher: ₹300/month or ₹50 per table per month, plus 18% GST. A 5-table restaurant pays the ₹300 floor; a 20-table restaurant pays ₹1,000 plus GST.

What happens if I don't renew?

You get a 30-day grace period with reminders in the app before printing pauses. If you need more time, you can request an extension — we'd rather work with you than lose you as a customer.
